On the 8th of January 2022 a message arrived on Maria’s messenger from a girl named Kallia, she also had some photos of a very skinny dog attached to the message, she suddenly came across a dog in a deserted area, it was sitting on a piece of carpet, it was on the way to her greenhouse that she saw this. It took quite a long time for this dog to trust kallia and her friend, as soon as they were able to capture her, they called Maria. Maria named her Elpida. Elpida was sick with leishmaniasis and ehrlichiosis. She has been sterilised vaccinated now healthy and only takes one tablet a day to keep her Leishmaniasis under control and is waiting for her forever home.
